CAPSTONE via EXTERNSHIP

MBS Externship for Honors College Undergraduates

The Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) Externship Exchange offers undergraduate Honors College students the opportunity to fulfill their Capstone requirement through interdisciplinary projects. By working with corporate mentors and collaborating with MBS graduate students, undergraduates gain hands-on experience in solving industry-relevant challenges that blend science, technology, and business.

How the MBS Externship Exchange Fulfills the Honors College Capstone?

Honors College students can complete their Capstone through Option 6: Experiential Capstone, which requires participation in an approved, credit-bearing internship or fieldwork experience over two consecutive semesters. The MBS Externship Exchange qualifies as an approved professional experience, meeting the Honors College’s criteria for a culminating academic experience.
