Since its inception, the Rutgers Master of Business and Science program has been opening doors to real-world experience and empowering student success through collaboration with leading organizations.  Externships, bootcamps, and more embody those practice-oriented learning experiences. This is Experiential Learning.

Our journey began over six years ago with a simple yet powerful idea: to bridge the gap between academia and industry through immersive, real-world experiences. Through collaboration that vision blossomed into  The Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) Externship Exchange program providing experiential learning projects that immerse students in the world of industry innovation across STEM, business, and design. As the Externship Exchange grows into its potential, we continue to find new ways to bring industry connections to Rutgers students; some, like bootcamps focused on skills in a particular industry, fall within the course-like structure of Externship, while others have shorter or longer term agendas leading to one-off projects for our partners, writing formal publications, or attending industry conferences. We prepare our students to be the innovators and leaders of tomorrow.
