Raquel Mura is a distinguished global R&D and regulatory executive and educator. She serves on the faculty at Rutgers University as part of the Masters of Business and Science
program, where she is the coordinator of the Regulatory Science concentration and teaches Fundamentals of Regulatory Affairs. Raquel advises graduate students, bringing to the program current industry practice and innovation perspective.

With a proven track record of translating complex challenges into actionable strategies, she shaped and delivered global strategies that solved ambitious and complex goals to drive innovation, scientific advances and pipeline growth. Her expertise covers a broad spectrum of products, from consumer healthcare and dietary supplements to Pharmaceuticals, driving successful regulatory transitions, pipeline shaping, and market launch strategies. She is an advocate for the role of technology and AI in enhancing decision making, innovation, and the human experience, having spearheaded technology transformation initiatives.

recognition as an HBA Luminary and one of America’s Most Inspirational Women in Leadership. Having lived and worked in the US, Latin America, and Europe, Raquel is recognized for establishing regulatory science and strategy as drivers of innovation. She holds a Pharm.D. from the University of São Paulo, a JD from Mackenzie University in Brazil, and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
