About Us
Rutgers Global Health Institute is a universitywide convener and catalyst. We advance and implement global health efforts across disciplines, schools, and campuses.
Confronting global health challenges and all their complexities requires broad expertise, so we bring together faculty from a wide range of fields. Oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and surgeons work alongside economists, engineers, climate scientists, human ecologists, lawyers, social workers, supply chain managers, vector biologists, and more. Drawing upon Rutgers’ considerable strengths in health systems and policies, infectious and noncommunicable diseases, and environmental and social issues, we are expanding the way we work to help solve these problems.
Our staff brings diverse professional backgrounds to its work to enhance education and training, support and implement research, build strategic partnerships and initiatives, and raise the visibility and impact of global health work across Rutgers.
